Hyuna Park (piano)
Since she moved from South Korea to New York in 2011, Park has been busy performing and recording in and around New York City, in Europe, and in Asia. She has worked with Lonnie Plaxico, Andy McKee, Vincent Herring, Kathryn Farmer, Amadis Dunkel, Daniel Fricker, Luis Bonilla, Michael Mossman,Vince Cherico, and the John Yao big band, as well as with her own trio and septet.
Her most recent recordings include “Brooklyn Sessions” in 2013 (with Vincent Herring), duo recording in 2013 (with Tatiana Eva-Marie), “The Bruised Finger”by Hyojung Lee (with Vince Cherico and Robert Sabin) in 2014, her own album (with Lonnie Plaxico) and “A Mighty Good Thing”in 2014 (with Amadis Dunkel, Luis Bonilla, Andy McKee and Austin Walker).
Tina Lama (Bass)
Over the past 17 years, Tina has performed and recorded with various groups throughout North America. She is featured on over 20 albums, most recently with the Emmy-nominated group, Gangstagrass, whose music is the theme for the FX Network show "Justified". She regularly perform with jazz, bluegrass, rock and funk bands throughout New York City and the Tri-state Area. Throughout her career, she has had the honor to play alongside many great artists including Tony Bennett, Danilo Perez, Adam Cruz, Jimmy Heath, as well as members of hip-hop groups, A Tribe Called Quest and Black Sheep.
Yasuno Katsuki (Vocal & Euphonium)
From Miyazaki, JAPAN, Yasuno moved to NYC in 2011 after touring her hometown, as well Kyushu and Tokyo and earning distinction for her euphonium playing and her singing. Since her arrival she has won both the Jimmy Heath award and the Marvin Hamlisch award, and received as a vocalist of the Queens College Big band. Katsuki has been blessed to play with such luminaries as Claudio Roditi, Karl Berger, Joseph Jarman, Glen Velez, Cafe Da Silva, Rod Williams,Eli Fountain, Kathy Sledge and many others.
